Heliconia rostrata 'Dwarf' (Heliconiaceae) 

    Heliconia rostrata 'Dwarf' is similar to the common rostrata or hanging lobster claw, except that it is a smaller plant.  The inflorescence is also smaller, with less bracts.  This smaller version of rostrata is perfect for pot culture.  Blooms from March through July in Puerto Rico.
