Heliconia rodriguensis (Heliconiaceae)
Heliconia rodriguensis blooms prolifically in summer and fall. Grows well in partial shade to full sun. A large, erect plant habit, from 10-12 feet tall. Bracts are thick and dark red, with a green border fading into pale greenish yellow.
