Heliconia psittacorum 'Borinquen Midnight'
(Heliconiaceae) 

'Borinquen Midnight' is a beautiful new heliconia cultivar developed at Montoso Gardens.  Bracts are hot pink-purple, and the true flowers are bright orange with a dark green tip.  The plant is vigorous and a prolific year round bloomer, about 2-3 feet tall.  Can grow in partial shade to full sun.
