Heliconia pendula 'Atlantica' (Heliconiaceae) 

      'Atlantica' has a dainty solid red pendent inflorescence with white true flowers.  It grows 5-6 feet tall, and prefers shade to partial sun.  Blooms from May to September in Puerto Rico.
