Heliconia nickeriensis  (Heliconiaceae) 

    A very vigorous plant and prolific bloomer, 4-5 feet tall.  Can grow in partial shade to full sun.  Bracts are orange-red with a yellow border and yellow rachis.  Blooms throughout the year.  Thought to be a hybrid between Heliconia psittacorum and H. marginata.
