Thought to be a natural hybrid between pendent Heliconia marginata and erect Heliconia bihai, 'Rauliniana' start erect, then begin to twist and turn as they begin to hang down. A medium sized heliconia, about 6-7 feet tall. It has bright red bracts lined in yellow, and a red rachis. Grows well in sun to partial shade. Blooms from May through August in Puerto Rico. Forms a tight clump and is a prolific bloomer.
