Heliconia caribaea x bihai 'Richmond Red'
(Heliconiaceae) 

'Richmond Red' is a natural hybrid of Heliconia caribaea and Heliconia bihai.  'Richmond Red' is a winter and spring bloomer, with large red bracts and a yellow lip. About 6-8 feet tall.  Can grow in partial shade to full sun.
