Heliconia caribaea x bihai 'Manoa Midnight' (Heliconiaceae) 

     'Manoa Midnight' is a natural hybrid with nice, solid dark purple bracts.  Grows well in partial shade to full sun.  Plant habit open and spreading, from 6-8 feet tall.  Blooms year round.
