Heliconia caribaea x bihai 'Hot Rio Nites' (Heliconiaceae) 

    'Hot Rio Nites' has a beautiful solid red flower.  The plant is a vigorous grower and bloomer, erect and clumping, from 8-10 feet tall.  Can grow in partial shade to full sun.  Blooms from March through July.
