Heliconia caribaea 'Flash' (Heliconiaceae) 

    'Flash' is an unusual and beautiful form of Heliconia caribaea.  Bracts are lime green, fading to yellow near the rachis, with a rosy red blush.  The plant is vigorous, erect and clumping, from 8-10 feet tall.  Can grow in partial shade to full sun.  Blooms from May through September.
