Anacardiaceae (mango family) The Anacardiaceae family consists of about 600 species in 70 genera of mostly subtropical and tropical woody trees and shrubs. Leaves and branches are resinous. Commercially important members of this family include mango (Mangifera indica) and cashew (Anacardium occidentale). Poison ivy and poison oak (Toxicodendron sp.) are also members of this family.
