Heliconia xanthovillosa 'Shogun' (Heliconiaceae) 

Heliconia xanthovillosa 'Shogun' is a magnificent hanging heliconia about 8-10 feet tall, and has bright yellow bracts with a greenish tint, and covered with velvety yellow hairs.  Grows well in shade to partial shade.  Blooms from May through October.
